Sometimes you need a small map to showcase your location. Other times you need to get locations from a list of addresses. And sometimes you need to map millions of locations based on what seems like random criteria.

We’ve done all of the above. Some examples:

• Invasion of America: Created a map to showcase the location of land boundaries over time for American indigenous peoples. The map has been updated, but you can view an updated version.
• Created an ArcMap extension for mapping hundredth of mile accidents based on state-wide police reports.
• Visualized juvenile arrest data; maps presented to and unveiled by state government officials.

Honestly, we were kind of thrown into SharePoint. The requirement was that an old, custom-developed portal in ColdFusion needed to be redone (without all of the mess from the old portal) in SharePoint. This was a trial-by-fire, but the end result was well-received.
